Amnesia: The Dark Descent Set to Scare in September

The latest title from Indie Developer Frictional Games, the unspoken masters of Interactive Horror, is finally set to terrify you this September.

Similar to their previous efforts, the Penumbra Trilogy, Amnesia: The Dark Descent is a first-person exploration game that's chock-full of enough supernatural and psychological horror to give you a heart attack.

As Frictional describes it: "Amnesia: The Dark Descent puts you in the shoes of Daniel as he wakes up in a desolate castle, barely remembering anything about his past. Exploring the eerie pathways, you must also take part of Daniel’s troubled memories. The horror does not only come from the outside, but from the inside as well. A disturbing odyssey into the dark corners of the human mind awaits."

If you're up to the challenge, Amnesia will be available for $20 upon it's release, but you can preorder it now for only $18! Not a bad deal. In the mean-time, check out this trailer.
