According to Andriasang, Hironobu Sakaguchi, (the mustached badass responsible for the original Final Fantasy titles) and his current company, Mistwalker (responsible for games like Lost Odyssey, Away Shuffle Dungeon and the Blue Dragon Franchise) are nearing completion of their latest exploit "The Last Story" which is a Nintendo Wii-exclusive title.
In his blog update, simply titled Tokyo. Sakaguchi describes the jet lag that he's feeling. Pictures of the Tokyo skyline follow, but it's the little blurb he posted that makes the blog very, very interesting.
"Last Story's development is at long last in the final stages. The feeling of tension is pleasant."
though that doesn't amount to much, we could very well be seeing a Japanese release of the title very soon and hopefully a US version early next year.
