Sony and EA Report Fiscal losses, Konami laughs all the way to the bank.

The Playstation division of Sony and EA both report losses this fiscal year, Konami on the other hand is reaping in the rewards of success.

Even with last years introduction of the PSP GO, the gaming division of Sony has reported almost $890 Million in fiscal losses this past year. The cause is due to the annual sales in PSP hardware, even with the GO, dropping almost 4 million as well as slipping sales in PS2 software. Good news for Sony however, they've achieved the annual sale of 13 Million PS3 units shipped in a single year. Their best for the console so far.

EA Games has also reported losses as well, almost $667 Million this past fiscal year. Though a substantial improvement of the billion lost the year before, the losses caused the share price of the publisher to drop almost 6%. Want some EA shares? You should buy now!

Konami on the other hand has reported the opposite, with a 22 percent raise in their income, possibly due to the success of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and Pro Evolution Soccer among several others.
