Indie Friday - September 3, 2010

We're only going to look at one Indie Game this Friday. It's so fantastically addictive that It's been slowing down our work progress. It's the reason the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game review isn't up. Actually, that's a bit of a lie, we're just lazy. Tee Hee!

Radiangames Crossfire

Pew pew! Co-op alien shooting is fun!

Radiangames has a tendency to take an old school inspired shooter, then make it fresh and exciting again. This time around, they're taking elements from Demons and Diamonds. A classic title that nobody gave a fuck about, now something that everyone should give a fuck about. The game is a visually stunning, co-operative pew-fest. You and a friend must shoot alien ships, collect gems to charge your super-weapon and hop from the top to the bottom of the screen to avoid enemy attacks, ambush from the rear, etc. It's simple, flashy and addictive, especially if you're playing with a friend. It's definitely one of the best shooters available on the Xbox Live Indie Games, so download it right now for 240 ($3) Microsoft Points.  Do it! Get it right here! Also, you can download it's sweet soundtrack too! For free!
