Free App of the Week - Call of Atlantis

In this week's edition of the Free App of the Week, we have Call of Atlantis, the puzzle game that brings ancient mythology into the gameplay.

You play as a hero who is on a quest to return 7 crystals to the Altar of Atlantis, so peace and prosperity can be returned to the land. Blah blah blah. Typical stuff, but there is actually some decent voice acting in this game, even though as far as I can tell there is only one voice. Anyway, you need to visit the 7 different countries that Poseidon has scattered the crystals. Each city has 4 different puzzle levels, so that makes 28 different levels in total, which is a good amount of gameplay (especially for free). The game is played like Bejeweled, where you must swap shapes on a grid so that at least 3 of them line up in a row, horizontally or vertically, in order for those shapes to dissapear. In place of some of these shaps will be a piece of a puzzle you will need, and to obtain these puzzle pieces you must move them to the bottom of the grid by destroying the shapes underneath them. Not a whole lot different than most of these puzzle-type games, but still enjoyable for some time. Look for it in the iTunes App store.
