Indie Friday - July 2nd, 2010

Like we promised, we're going to showcase some of the neat-O games that were featured in Pixelprospector's 235 Free Indie Games video. Out of the several handfuls that I played and haven't previously covered, I picked out some of my favorites, just for you!

Bonesaw

In Bonesaw, you play as a member of the Golden Knight's Hockey team, who must travel a variety of levels in order to rescue his team. The game combines elements of beat-em-ups with old-school platforming goodness. After kicking enough enemies, the Golden Knight can use the Titular Bonesaw to mess stuff up. Awesome. Find the download for it here.

Legend of Princess

The Legend of Princess is a tribute to everyone's favortite Side-scrolling Zelda adventure. Though the game is incredibly short, you can choose between a variety of weapons at the start which affect the gameplay in there own unique way. The game also has fantastatic visuals and music. Download it here.

Death Worm

Death Worm is simple. You play a giant, sand-dwelling worm monster, who must eat everything that moves. The game is both fun and fantastically simple. Download it here.

Mega Man 7-FC

Take the underrated SNES classic, Mega Man 7 and combine it with the 8-bit style of it's NES predecessors and you get something magical. The visuals and music are all fantastic, it's a Mega Man fan's dream come true! Download it here. (Click on Final2)
