This tweet by Philippe Casgrain is genious. But to understand this quote, you must understand that some people in Quebec, especially Parti Quebecois, have been trying to separate from Canada to become it's own coutry for decades. Rene Levesque started the Mouvement Souverainete-Association (MSA) in 1957 which began the Quebec sovereignty movement.
Today's 5.5 magnitude earthquake happened near the Ontario-Quebec border near Ottawa and Hull. There is a fault line in that region which means that Quebec could literally "break off" from Canada. O, the irony.
