Indie Friday - June 4th, 2010.

Do to an unfortunate workplace accident involving my left thumb, I am unable to play console games for a couple days. So instead, I shall discuss some pretty PC Indie titles for you to play. All of them are free! Yay! Free!

Hero Core

Hero Core is like a combination of Metroid, Section Z and Minimalist Aesthetics. A sequel to another similar game known as Hero, you must fly around exploring a Meteoroid base while defeating enemies, bosses and collecting a variety of Power-ups. The game has Black and white graphics and simple sounds, which emulates the classic Gameboy feel quite well. You can download it here, and while you're at it, download the original one here too!

Enough Plumbers

A Flash Puzzle game disguised as a platformer, you must traverse a variety of levels using your army of clones, special abilities and your platforming skills. The game can get a little tricky in the beginning, but really tests your ability as a gamer in the later levels. You can play it here and here.

Where We Remain

Another Flash game that is similar to the classic Zelda titles and Adventure on the Atari 2600. You play a man who is exploring an Island avoiding a pair of monsters and attempting to rescue a princess. The game's map is procedurally generated, ensuring you get something new each time you play. Try it out here.
