Today's chiptune musician creates his music using the same method as yesterday's musicians, Anamanaguchi. But Sabrepulse does something a little bit different genre-wise.
Straight out of the U.K., Sabrepulse makes use of a Hacked Game Boy to bring us infectious chiptune dancebeats that will get even the laziest of us into a body-moving frenzy. Similar to Anamanaguchi, Sabrepulse 8-bit electropop is both upbeat and fun, something that is synonymous with the theme of the original soundtracks of 80's video games.
After entering a short-lived retirement, Sabrepulse made his entire discography (2 EPs, 3 LPs, 1 collaboration) available on his Myspace for download, unfortunately the links have been disabled and his discography is not available for purchase, so browsing around the internet is required. But for something this awesome, it's worth it.
