Chiptuned - Covox

Straight out of the frigid lands of Sweden, Covox brings us downtuned and mellow chiptune music. Compared to our previous showcases, who used upbeat elements of punk and dance in combination with their Game Boy effects, Covox does things a little differently.

Utilizing the primitive 4-bit audio power of the Game Boy (It's a popular choice it seems.) Covox creates an interesting, down-tuned chiptune experience that mixes elements of electro and shoegaze to create something catchy, energetic and dark as exemplified by the video below.



Covox has three releases available to purchase: The Infilitrator EP, his full-length Delete the Elite and his latest effort, Wave EP. All of them are unique and interesting albums and are worth investing into.
